Why I love music

Why I Love Music

Well… Its a cliche question I know, but as a music creator its my obligation to know the answer to this question and typing it out helps me process.

I love music for many seen and unseen reasons and I am always finding more reasons to love music.

1.Its a “SOUL” expression.

Your soul is the core of your being and it is thee MOST beautiful thing to be in touch with. Many loose touch with their soul leaving them empty and confused about who they are in their individuality. luckily we have a natural source (music) to help “find” honest and REAL characteristics of an individual.

2. Its like a “SPIRITUAL/EMOTIONAL” photo album.

Ever have to turn off a song because of its connection to a bad emotional experience? Music has a way of engraving images into your life. Its such a power force on its own, making it either a healing medication or a deadly weapon. I LOVE using music as a healing and relational source. Being able to identify with yourself and others through music is like a audible yearbook piecing together audio and visual snapshots of your life. Music is imagery more than we think or realize, lets paint a good picture with it.

3. Music is its own “LANGUAGE”

Yeah we have music in Spanish, Portuguese, English, and every imaginable language. BUT!! a lot of the time we don’t need to understand the “language” to understand what is being said. Melody is universally translated, in essence “melody speaks ALL languages”. I believe our souls speak to each other… that sounds weird I know. But when creating music or in fact anything from the depths of your core (soul) you are SPEAKING in your most honest language. Words…. we don’t need them in EVERY situation. Thank God! For such a powerful force! Music!
